Content Writer/Editor

The Content Writer and Editor will generate industry-related content to be utilized via NAA's prints and digital publications, as well as promoted through social media channels.

Manager, Business Development & Client Services

The Manager of Business Development and Client Services is a key member of the Business Development team who is responsible for helping drive over 30% of the total NAA revenue. This position will focus on selling significant sponsorships to non-endemic companies not currently active with NAA and/or in the apartment housing sector. The incumbent will have strong sales experience having successfully managed and led an effective sales operation and a sales cycle including: researching companies, prospecting and making contact, developing and delivering an effective customized sales presentation, closing a sale and managing a robust list of prospects.

Midwest Regional Liaison

The Region Liaison position is part of an overall national strategy to build a stronger network of affiliated apartment associations (affiliates) across the country. This strategy includes strengthening relationships amongst the National Apartment Association (NAA), the affiliates, and NAA members. In collaboration with NAA’s Vice President of Membership and Affiliate Services, the Region Liaison will be instrumental in the design and implementation of a plan that leads to uniform and consistent delivery of products and services, and if need be, a customized approach in support of growth and development within NAA affiliates located in the Region Liaison’s assigned territory. The position assists affiliates in developing specific recruitment and retention plans, educational programs, the development of non-dues revenue streams, the implementation of an effective advocacy program, and overall increased level of awareness and satisfaction within NAA.

The position represents NAA in all dealings with association executives and their volunteer leadership. Specifically, he/she represents NAA’s policy positions, philosophy, programs and services to affiliates and individual members, while supporting the work of each individual affiliate in their service area.
